HR Director: the agent that hires agents
When the team needs a new role, who decides what it should know, who it reports to, and what tools it gets?
The HR Director role exists because teams change. New verticals, new tools, new policies. Editing every other agent's prompt by hand is how teams quietly fall out of sync.
Responsibilities
- Define and update role specs
- Issue tool access (which MCPs each role can call)
- Onboard new specialists with the team's shared context
- Retire roles that no longer earn their seat
Think of it as platform engineering for prompts. You will not feel the win on day one. You will feel it on day ninety, when the team has changed three times and still works.
