Brand kit: feeding visual identity to agents
Logos and palettes are easy. The hard part is encoding the rules a designer enforces by feel.
A useful brand kit for agents has six parts: palette, type, spacing scale, image style, do/don't examples, and forbidden combinations.
Encode the don'ts
Designers know the don'ts cold. Agents do not. 'Never set the logo on the accent colour' is more valuable than another adjective about your aesthetic.
If your team produces visuals, attach the brand kit to every role that touches imagery, not just the design specialist.
